Organized in collaboration with the Scientific Culture and Innovation Unit (UCC+i) – FECYT at the Research Institute of the Hospital de Sant Pau (IR Sant Pau), we recently hosted an engaging talk led by Dr. Cristina Gallego, our postdoctoral researcher.
In her talk, Dr. Gallego presented how ongoing research is uncovering genes that increase the risk of stroke. She explained these complex concepts in a clear and accessible way, making the science understandable for a general audience, including those without a background in research or healthcare.
Dr. Gallego emphasized the importance of continuing this type of research to better understand the genetic factors behind stroke risk.
