Our PhD students, Paula Villatoro and Laia Llucià Carol, have been awarded EMBO Scientific Exchange Grants to support their research stays in the UK.Paula is conducting a 3 months research stay at the Prof. Sarah Teichmann group at the Cambridge Stem Cell Institute (CSCI), University of Cambridge, where she is working on integration of single-cell transcriptomic datasets and conducting a CADASIL versus healthy controls transcriptomic analysis.Laia conducted her 3 months research stay in the Dr. Claudia Langenberg Group at the Precision Healthcare University Research Institute (PHURI), Queen Mary University of London, where she worked on proteome-wide analysis and the integration of omics and clinical data from ischaemic strokes patients
