In an attempt to encourage a deeper understanding of science among younger public, an innovative “Escolab” workshop has been launched, highlighting the critical role of science divulgation in today’s world.

Escolab, a collaborative initiative between leading scientists and educators, aims to simplify complex scientific concepts and bring them to the attention of young people. Recognizing the critical role of science education for an informed public and the advancement of science, the workshop aims to arouse curiosity and a passion for inquiry-based learning.

Today, Dr. Martín-Campos and Dr. Cárcel, both members of our team, led an event in which high school students from the XXV Olympiad Institute were introduced to the field of computer science. Throughout the activity, the students used data analysis software to examine genetic sequences, thus exploring the fascinating field of genomics.
