Berlin, Germany – Natalia Cullell, a member of our research group, recently attended the European Society of Human Genetics Conference, held in Berlin from June 1st to 4th, 2024. This prestigious event brought together leading experts from around the world to discuss the latest developments in genetics.
The conference focused on a range of topics, from analyzing data-rich results and assessing genetic variants at scale to better representing human diversity and exploring the impact of genetics on human health and medicine. It provided a unique platform for sharing knowledge and fostering collaboration among researchers, clinicians, and geneticists.
During the conference, Natalia had the opportunity to present a poster on the results of a Phenome-Wide Association Study (PWAS) related to stroke outcomes. Her presentation highlighted important findings on the genetic factors influencing stroke recovery, contributing valuable insights to the field and advancing our understanding of how genetics can impact patient health and treatment strategies.
