We are pleased to welcome Eric as the newest member of the Stroke Pharmacogenomics and Genetics Research Group.
Eric holds a Bachelor’s degree in Genetics from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, where he completed his final project on yeast genome modification for heavy metal bioremediation. His academic and professional background combines both wet lab and computational experience, having worked in a microbiological laboratory for quality control and completed an internship as a Transcriptomics Data Analyst focused on Fragile X Syndrome at Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
Currently, Eric is finishing his Master’s degree in Bioinformatics and Biostatistics at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. His thesis focuses on Myosin Heavy Chain structure modelling and contractile kinetics analysis, further deepening his expertise in computational biology.
Eric joins our group as a Junior Researcher, where he will contribute to the OneCareAI Project through data entry and bioinformatics analysis.
We are excited to have him on board and look forward to his contributions to the team!
